ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Katie Chute. I am a recent graduate from the NSCC Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS) in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia. I have completed the Geographic Sciences Program and received a diploma in Community and Environmental Planning. I was born and raised in Bridgetown, Nova Scotia (about 15 minutes from COGS).
I am a big sports fan. My favorite sports would have to be Curling, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball, and Baseball. I graduated from Bridgetown Regional High School in 2010. The following year I went to Acadia to pursue a Degree in Kinesiology, I took that following year off after completing the first year. During that year off I found the Centre of Geographic Science. That is when I decided to go in another direction with my studies. Starting in 2012 I started the Geographic Sciences two-year program. Then in 2016, I Graduated with the Diploma in Community and Environmental Planning. Since I did not find work right away I decided to go back to school for another year and I took another concentration within the Geographic Sciences two-year program. That concentration was Remote Sensing. I am currently in the process of completing the Remote Sensing Diploma. During the month of May, there will be a field camp that I am partaking in, then on June 7th I will be graduating.
